Our popular training day, run annually in various locations in the UK since 2014, is now available online. Teachers from Bridlington to Baltimore learn how to compose, improvise and perform using a variety of apps, even if they can’t get a day off from regular teaching! This video gives a flavour:
The training uses footage from our 2018 London CPD day, and covers four units:
- Soundtracks to films
- Composition with Garageband
- iPad Ensembles
- Music videos
The course is suitable for all teachers regardless of musical or tech ability, and is likely to be the most enjoyable and value for money CPD training you will attend all year, all from the comfort of your own home and at a time of your choosing (tea and biscuits not provided). The course also includes a free copy of our core textbook, Teaching Music with Garageband for iPads, which is referenced as part of the course.
