Here at Transformance Music we are big library lovers. Countless worlds to get lost in, egalitarian places of study, exceptionally caring and well informed staff… and free office space on the road! While some believe libraries are less and less relevant in modern society, the Ilford Library Service is showing what is possible when we see libraries as a place not just of books but of stories, real and imaginary, made of images, words and …. music! We have run several workshops in the library, a little shy to make loud music at first, but the young participants led the way, and we have created some amazing works.
