We have recently developed two sets of lesson plans and ‘how-to’ videos with Inspiring Music, Central Bedfordshire’s Music Education Hub. One is for PMLD students, the other for higher abilities. They are all free, and you are welcome to share them with your colleagues.
Other resources include The Improvise Approach, a guide and series of backing tracks for the Thumbjam app, as well as our ‘Teaching Music with Garageband for iPad‘, our popular textbook. It is written for mainstream, but plenty of it is accessible to higher abilities in ALN/SEND contexts.
