Sound Connections have recently published a research paper written by Graham Dowdall, looking carefully at the developing role of iPads in Community Music.
The first half of the paper details with the what, why and how, whilst the second part includes a comprehensive list of useful apps, as well as info on options for amplification, maintenance etc. This is a really useful paper for teachers/schools/arts organisations considering using iPads in educational settings.
