We find that many schools are keen to develop the abilities of staff to use iPads in a music setting. We have developed a programme of ‘showing by doing’. Over the course of between 1 and 5 days, we work with groups of pupils across the school and demonstrate various ways to compose, improvise, perform and evaluate. We then invite teachers to have a go at delivering some of these methods with our support and feedback.

A typical intensive school visit includes:

  • 1- 2 hour Workshops throughout the day with groups of 4 – 10 students, demonstrating various techniques to compose and perform with iPad apps
  • A twilight INSET session with relevant staff, including SEN, music and/or ICT coordinator
  • An information pack including lesson plans and ideas for extra-curricular clubs

We tailor sessions based on the needs of the school and pupils, and are also available to provide training to Music Hubs and other organisations. Contact us to discuss how we can make the session most useful for your staff and pupils.

NEXT TRAINING: LONDON, 17 JAN 2017. Contact us for more information.
